满帆 University is proud to announce that 51 graduates were credited on 8 Oscar-winning films at the 88th annual Academy Awards. 研究生s of 满帆 University have participated in industry roles on 14 Best Picture winning films over the last 21 years, including this year’s Best Picture winner, 关注的焦点. The Oscars, hosted by Chris Rock, aired live on Sunday, February 28, on ABC.

At this year’s awards ceremony, a total of 117 满帆 graduates were credited on 21 Oscar-nominated films across 26 categories. 满帆 graduates worked on films that won in 16 different categories including: Best Picture, Animated Feature, 电影剪辑, 摄影, 导演, Production 设计, 和 混音, just to name a few.

25 grads contributed to Mad Max: Fury Road, which took home six awards in the following categories: Production 设计, 电影剪辑, 服装设计, 化妆 & Hairstyling, 混音, 和 声音剪辑. Other winning films featuring contributions by grads included 的亡魂, Bridge of Spies, 大空头, 关注的焦点, The Hateful Eight, 内而外, 和 幽灵.

虽然 星球大战: The Force Awakens didn't take home any prizes, it did set records for a huge opening weekend 和 as being the fastest film to gross $1 billion in just 12 days. The film was recognized with nominations in five categories, including 电影剪辑, 音乐 Written for motion Pictures, 声音剪辑, 混音, 和 视觉效果. Nearly 30 满帆 alumni contributed to the project, many working with the visual effects team to craft the film's iconic l和scapes.

The same is true for 火星, which received nominations in seven categories including Motion Picture of the Year, Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role, Production 设计, 声音, 编辑, 混音, 视觉效果, 和 Adapted Screenplay. Ten grads 和 one faculty member worked on the film.
